Contimi Kenfack Mouafo is a Cameroonian sustainability enthusiast on a mission to enable Africa to achieve its potential and at the same time, have a global impact in the fight against climate change. Passionate about renewable energy systems, he is currently studying Electrical Engineering at the RWTH Aachen University in Germany and works at Uniper Renewables GmbH in the solar development department with a focus on Germany and the Benelux region.
Besides his studies in Germany, Contimi has been actively creating impact on his home continent through his volunteering work. He founded “3 E’s 4 Africa” in 2020 and has been working with his team to empower African students on the continent, enabling them to implement sustainable research projects which provide adequate solutions to local challenges with a focus on climate change mitigation and adaptation. As a young leader tackling climate change, Contimi has received the Volunteer for Future 2022 award from GoVolunteer and has been selected as a 2023 Young Global Changer by Global Solutions Initiative.
