“Young leaders can drive the circular economy by advocating for sustainability, innovating with eco-friendly products, and inspiring their communities to reduce, reuse, and recycle. At Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO), we champion the Zero Waste Cities project, creating a green and blue circular economy for vulnerable people by training SMEs to use municipal waste as raw materials. This initiative restores dignity for migrants and informal waste pickers, creates jobs, and achieves climate and environmental justice.“
