Fatma Sylla is a planner specialising in local development, environment and urban management. She has gained field experience and practice in local development within Senegalese NGOs working on environment and development issues. Sylla has had the privilege of working closely with communities affected by climate change, both in her professional capacity and as a volunteer. At the same time, working for a political foundation has given Sylla a deeper understanding of governance, democracy and human rights issues.

Throughout her career, Sylla has cultivated and honed her leadership skills, often working with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to the design and development of strategic partnerships and frameworks between different stakeholders. One of her notable strengths is her proven track record in building strategic partnerships and frameworks. She contributes to the creation of networks focused on energy transitions and sustainable urban development.
